Elinor Joy Gillinger

Elinor Joy (nee Unland) Gillinger beloved wife of the late Eugene "Gene" L. Gillinger; loving mother of Larry A. (Loretta) Gillinger, Victoria Apodaca, Butch (Pam) Gillinger, Debbie (Scott) Dwyer and the late Mike (Frankie) Washburn; cherished grandmother of several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, George B. and Thelma (nee Seter) Unland; sisters, Violet Johnson and Donna Heflin; and grandson, Derik Dwyer. Went home to be with the Lord on August 24, 2022. Age 81. Residence Fayetteville, Ohio. Elinor was a long time member of the Order of Eastern Star. She was an amazing lady with a bubbly personality and was a selfless individual. Elinor will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Visitation will be held at the Evans Funeral Home, 741 Center St., Milford, OH 45150 on Friday September 2, 2022 from 1;00 PM until time of OES and funeral service at 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Graceland Memorial Gardens in Milford, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Shriners Children's Burn Care Hospital or St Jude's Children's Hospital.
