Elizabeth M. Blume

Elizabeth M. Blume, age 94 of Cincinnati passed June 5, 2015 at the Mercy Anderson Hospital. She was born April 28, 1921 in Cincinnati the daughter of Henry and Mary Sauer Aeberle. She was a registered nurse during WWII in Tenneessee, she studied the violin at the Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music and was a member of St. Gertrude Church in Madeira. Elizabeth and her husband, Walter, co-founded The Electrodyne Inc. company and when he preceded her in death in 1997 she became the C.E.O. of the company. She is survived by her children and spouses, Therese Kuhn, Mary Blume, Elizabeth Blume, Walt (Sundy) Blume and Cathy (Tim) Brinkman, grandchildren; David Kuhn II, Robert Kuhn, Matthew Blume, Beth Raines, John Leighton, Christopher Leighton and Stephen Leighton; great-grandchildren Max, Jack and Carson Leighton and Olivia Kuhn. Along with her husband she was preceded in death by her siblings, Henry, Walter, Art and Verna and son-in-law David Kuhn. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30AM Wednesday, June 10, 2015 by Reverend Joseph André at the St. Gertrude Church in Madeira.
