Elizabeth Ann Wood, peacefully passed away on April 16, 2024. Born on September 9, 1947, in Columbus, Georgia, she faced numerous physical challenges throughout her life with unwavering strength and grace.
Elizabeth's love for her children, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren knew no bounds. She found solace and joy in the simple pleasures of life, often immersing herself in the worlds of books, cross-stitching, and enjoying her favorite treats of candy and diet coke.
Ann is survived by her mother and best friend, Barbara Oggesfuss, and her children, Veronica Stetson, Patrick Gilbert and Shannon (Denny) Deidesheimer, her grandchildren, Jessica, Natalie, Kevin, Ada, Max, Donald, Bailey and Lindsey, great-grandchildren, Ellis, Myla, Ava, Sydney, Samantha, Briley and siblings Dave ( Carol Gott) Oggenfuss and Kathie (Richard) Forsten. She is preceded in death by her father Arthur Oggenfuss, her husband Donald Wood, Sr and brothers Larry Lee and Mike Lee.
Elizabeth's presence in the lives of those who knew her will be greatly missed, but her memory will forever be cherished in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in eternal peace.
