Ellen May Clemons

Ellen May Clemons, a cherished resident of Batavia, Ohio, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2024, at the age of 90. Born on May 16, 1934, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Ellen spent her life devoted to her family and home, finding joy in the simple pleasures of life.

Ellen was a loving mother to her sons, Darrell (Kim) and Dave (Holly Sebastian) Clemons, and a doting grandmother to her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Derrick, Taylor, Elisha (Aaron) DeRan, Dave (Paige) Jr., Stephanie Justice, Megan (Brady), Remy Rose, Harlowe, Beau, Tilley, and Cody (Anna) Sebastian. She found immense happiness in spending time with her family, whether it be cheering on the Cincinnati Reds on the radio or sharing the latest novels she had read.

A proud homemaker, Ellen found fulfillment in creating a warm and welcoming environment for her loved ones. Her passion for books and baseball was only surpassed by her love for her family, always putting their needs above her own.

In honor of her memory, a graveside service will be held at 10:30AM at the Oak Hill Cemetery on October 10, 2024. The ceremony will be a reflection of Ellen’s vibrant spirit, with friends and family gathering to share stories and memories that will forever live on in our hearts.

Ellen May Clemons will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love that she so generously shared throughout her life.
