Ellen Areta Longtin

Ellen Areta Longtin, age 86, of Maineville passed away at her residence, Wednesday, August 26, 2020. She was born October 12, 1933 in Mancelona, Michigan the daughter of Charles Edward and Retha (nee Carpenter) Vance. She is the loving mother of her children and their spouses; Steve & Sherry Longtin, Darcy & Kevin Moore, Laurie Longtin, Alison Longtin & Tim Hood, the late Brian Longtin and late Timothy Longtin, devoted grandmother of Kristina Vatter, Jay Moore, Shane Pitman, Michael (Stephanie) Rabon, Ryan (Corey) Longtin, Ashton (Billy) Metz, Erin (Michael) Goldschmidt, Johnathon Longtin, and Hannah Longtin, 12 great-grandchilldren and she was preceded in death by one great-grandchild and one great-great grandchild. Ellen was also preceded in death by her siblings; Marjorie Autio, Donald, Walt and Bob Vance. In lieu of flowers, her family requests memorials in her honor to the Wounded Warrior Project at https://www.woundedwarriorproject.org. Her family is planning a service at their convenience.
