TUCKER, ELMER CLARENCE - Beloved sweetheart of 77 years to Ruth Tucker (nee Ward); Devoted father of Sally (Larry) Long, Karen (David) Cundiff, the late Susan (the late Gary) Schatzman, and the late Jeanie (Don) Viox; Grandfather of Lori Lang, Lisa Kolb, Greg Rose, Brian Rose, Andrew Clift, Mary Beth Flanagan, and Dennis Gulat; Great grandfather of 14; Great great grandfather of 5; Elmer outlived his seven sisters and one brother; Elmer was a Christian servant and was active in church. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII and Korean War. Elmer was a quiet and wise man that was a Godly example for his family. He passed away Monday August 16, 2021, Age 96; Resident of Amelia, OH; Visitation will be at Batavia Baptist Temple 770 S Riverside Drive Batavia, Ohio 45103 Friday August 20, 2021 from 10:00 AM until time of funeral service at 11:00 AM; Burial to follow with military honors at Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Evans Funeral Home assisting the family.
