Emmett Feck Jr., a beloved brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully on February 14, 2026, at the age of 74. Born on May 25, 1951, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Emmett was raised in Fairfax and later made Milford his home, where he cultivated not only a garden but also a life full of love, laughter, and hard work.
Emmett was a man who found profound joy in the simple pleasures of life. His childhood on the farm instilled in him a deep appreciation for nature, a love he carried into adulthood by tending to a vibrant garden that nourished both family and spirit. Throughout his life, he cherished the moments spent working the land, while also being an avid Cincinnati Reds fan. The thrill of watching games and the splendor of the WEBN fireworks became cherished rituals.
A dedicated member of the Mariemont Community Church, Emmett's unwavering faith shaped the way he interacted with the world. His career reflected his diligent nature, culminating in a long tenure as a custodian at Kroger, where he was known for his strong work ethic and commitment to those around him. Emmett took great pride in his contributions to the workplace, leaving an indelible mark on both colleagues and patrons alike.
Emmett is survived by his loving sister, Laura Lee Shields, and his nieces and nephew-Misty Tice, Maria Ventus, Angela Shields, and James Shields, great nieces and great nephews Aziyah, Michael, Cassius, Damien, Raven, and Collin-who will forever hold dear the memories of family gatherings and joyful moments shared. In addition, he will be missed by his furry companions, Jack and Priscilla, who brought him endless joy and comfort throughout his life. Emmett was preceded in death by: his parents Emmett and Mary Feck, Sr.
With a heart full of love and a spirit that touched many, Emmett Feck Jr. will be remembered for his kindness, humor, and dedication to family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday,Feb 21, 2026 beginning at 10:00AM in the Evans Funeral Home, Milford. A service to honor Emmett will follow at 11:00AM, where all who knew and loved him will gather to share stories and celebrate the incredible man he was.
Rest in peace, dear Emmett. You will forever be in our hearts.
