Eric Charles Geis

In loving memory of Eric Geis, a cherished husband, son, father, brother, friend, uncle, and proud enthusiast of Cincinnati sports. His jovial spirit, passion for the great outdoors, and knack for handiwork defined him, with a deep love for his family resonating at the core of his being. Eric's infectious humor and love for camping brought joy to those around him, while his dedication to his children was unwavering and profound.

He found immense joy in cheering for the Bengals, Reds, and Bearcats, holding a special place in his heart for his hometown teams. Eric's skills as a handyman spoke volumes of his resourcefulness and ability to create, while his faithful companion, his beloved dog "Briar," brought him endless comfort and companionship.

Eric is survived by his loving wife Lain Geis, children Kara Geis, Alison Geis and Benjamin Geis, sisters Amy (Jeff) Van Horn and Katie (Chris) Bruns, one niece, five nephews and many caring friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Nancy Geis and his brother Matt Geis.

As we reflect on the memories shared with Eric, we invite friends and family to join us in honoring his life. His family will receive friends at Evans Funeral Home, Milford, on Wednesday, October 2nd from 6 PM until time of the memorial service beginning at 7 PM. Everyone is asked to wear their favorite Cincinnati sports attire in celebrating his life. In this time of remembrance, we celebrate the profound impact Eric had on our lives and the lasting legacy he leaves behind. May his laughter, love, and kindness continue to inspire us in the days ahead.
