Erin Monaghan Schauer

Erin Schauer -- beloved daughter of Edward Schauer and the late Patricia Schauer, cherished sister of Jenna O’Brien, and loving mother to Sia Schauer -- died on Wednesday, August 3rd after a brave battle with cancer. Though our grief may be strong it is immensely overshadowed by the love we have for her and the gratitude we have that we were lucky enough to be loved by her. Erin lived a big life in her 42 years. Whether it was pursuing her comedy career or helping others in recovery, her bright light shown wherever she was. Erin spent many years on the comedy circuit in Cincinnati and Los Angeles performing at the World Famous Comedy Store and The Improv alongside some of the biggest names in comedy. She had the kindest heart, the greatest laugh, and will be missed by many. Everyone who met her considered her a friend. Friends will be received at Evans Funeral Home in Milford on Tuesday, August 9th from 9:30 – 11:00 am. Funeral mass will follow at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish at 11:30 am.
