Erna Elizabeth Meert

Erna Elizabeth Meert, was born to W. Eugene Gibson and Hugoline Josphine Gibson on December 19, 1935 in Muncie, Indiana. She is the wife of the late Eugene Thomas Meert, devoted mother of Glen (Ellie) Meert, Carl Meert and Kevin Meert, loving grandmother of Jacob Thomas "J.T." Meert, sister of the late Cyril Gibson and the late Dr. Alois Gibson, sister-in-law to Gwynne Gibson and Jean Gibson. She is survived by many loving nieces, nephews and a host of friends. She passed away on February 21, 2020 at the age of 84. She is a resident of Miamiville, Ohio and formerly of South Bend, Indiana. Family will receive friends at All Saints Church in Montgomery on Saturday, February 29th from 9:30 AM until time of Mass beginning at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Miamiville. Memorial donations may be made in her name to All Saints Athletic Foundation, 8939 Montgomery Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45236.
