Ernest Lee Daniel

ERNEST LEE DANIEL, age 66, passed away on May 19, 2022. Devoted husband of 47 years to Michele “Mickie” (nee Larkin) Daniel; Loving father to Laura (Stephen) Bosier and Amy (Joseph) Harvey; Cherished papaw to Hayden Jones, Elizabeth (Clayton) Burgess, Elijah Harvey and Silas Harvey; Great-grandpa to June and Larkyn Burgess; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Ernest was preceded in death by his parents James Ernest Daniel and Virginia Lee Price, and also his two brothers Arnie and Barnie. Ernie was a honest, hard-working man who would give the shirt off of his back to anyone in need. He farmed corn and soybeans for 10 years and then worked in construction for 30 years. He began working in construction with J.P. Construction Co. and ended his career with Loveland Excavating. Ernie was crazy about his children and grandchildren and was known as Big “E” or “Bwana, the great white hunter”. He loved the outdoors where he spent his time hunting and fishing anything he could, especially with his bird dog Cash and beagle Ringo. A visitation will take place at Evans Funeral Home – 741 Center Street, Milford, OH 45150, on Friday, May 27th from 9:00am to 10:30am. There will then be a procession to St. Louis Catholic Church - 210 N Broadway St, Owensville, OH 45160, where a memorial mass will take place starting at 11:00am. The family requests that memorial donations be sent to the American Lung Association.
