Eulas Foster Braley

September 21, 1927 — January 10, 2016

Foster was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. His heart for serving was expressed early with service in the military. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Milford, Ohio where he touched countless lives through his love of teaching and serving people. He was a pastor prior to working at Proctor & Gamble for over 40 years. His love of writing poetry also touched the lives of many. Foster is survived by his wife of 67 years, Sylvia (Elder) Braley of Loveland, Ohio. Preceded in death by parents Ralph Edwin Braley and Nora Lee Braley; brothers Brad, John, and Tom; sisters Burt and Josie; grandchildren Scott Braley and Christina Schuchmann. He is survived by children Larry Braley, Carol (Braley) Schuchmann, and Janet (Braley) Rhodes; grandchildren Carrie Schuchmann, Ashley Carter, Joy Sampson, Danielle Rhodes, and Anna Rhodes; great grandchildren Emily Hover, Alyssa Carter, Ethan Carter, Judah Sampson, Jaron Sampson, Zach Sampson, Lily Sampson. His family and friends will miss him immensely but are comforted knowing he smiles without pain in the presence of his Savior, Jesus, and those who have preceded him in death. Visitation will be held at the First Baptist Church of Milford, 1367 Woodville Pike, Milford, Ohio 45150 on Friday, January 15th from 10:00 a.m. until Noon. The service will begin at noon. Burial will follow the service at Batavia Union Cemetery. Memorials can be sent to Crossroads Hospice.
