Faith W. Chase

Faith Williams Chase, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on October 29, 2024, at the age of 79. Born in Florence, SC on March 15, 1945, to the late Wattie and Rulea (nee Anderson) Williams. Faith was a beacon of kindness and warmth to all who knew her.

Faith is survived by her beloved husband of 61 years Peter B. Chase; Loving mother of Brian D. (Vildan) Chase and Wendy L. (Dan) Hart; Dear grandmother of David (Jonathan) Hart, Matthew (Erin) Hart, and Deanna (Nick) Hemans; Great-grandmother of Cole, Dixie, Hazel, Bowie, Braven, and Kyler. Sister of Charles Williams and Bruce Williams. Along with her parents, Faith is preceded in death by her brother Vance Williams and sister Joy Williams.

Throughout her life, Faith exemplified compassion and kindness. She was a nurturing mother and grandmother, always putting the needs of her family first. One of Faith's most notable traits was her ability to connect with people from all walks of life; she never met a stranger and had a heart full of empathy. Her selfless nature extended beyond her family as she actively volunteered with organizations such as Big Sisters and Literacy Volunteers and devoted her time to visiting shut-ins and the elderly in her community, bringing joy and companionship to those in need.

Faith's legacy of love and generosity will live on through her family, friends, and all those fortunate enough to have crossed paths with her. She will forever be remembered for her gentle spirit, unwavering kindness, and boundless love.
