Frances Christene Custer

Frances Christene Custer, age 92, of Florence, Kentucky formerly of Milford, passed Friday, August 18, 2017 at the Emerald Trace Nursing Home in Elsmere, Ky. She was born June 26, 1925 in Pineville, Ky. the daughter of Fusion and Margaret Hoskins Saylor. Before she retired, she was an waitress for the former Homested Inn, Milcroft Inn in Milford and the Heritage in Plainville.Her husband, Raymond E. Custer, preceded her in death November 14, 1992. She is survived by her children and spouses; Claudia & Jake Wartman, Carl & Ruth Custer, grandchildren; Brett (Regenia), Chad & Blake Wartman, Carla (Bryan) Riley, and Christie Custer, great grandchildren; Luke & Brooke Wartman, Carley Shea and Colton Custer, sisters; Carolyn Sloe, Patricia Rettman, brother; Charles Saylor. Along with her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her 7 other siblings; Ruth Russell, Genice Bullock, Betty Goldberg, Thelma, Oscar, C.J., and W.A. Saylor. Services will be 11:30 AM Thursday, August 24, 2017 at the Evans Funeral Home in Milford. Family and friends may visit from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Services will be concluded at the Graceland Memorial Gardens on Deerfield Rd. in Miami Township. Her great nephew, Pastor Aaron Bullock will preside.
