Francis "Frank" J. Shields beloved husband of 63 years to Barbara "Bobbie" F. (nee Jasak) Shields; loving father of Holly (Mike) Lane, Emily (Jim McKinney) Shields and the late Bill (Rick Dorton) Shields; cherished grandfather of Jessica Lane, Brian (Maria) Lane, Kristina Lane, Kent (Destiny) Walker, Kari (Drew) Patrick, Holly Walker, Hanna Walker and Hailey Walker; 10 great grandchildren; dear brother of Rosemary Rippe and John Shields. Passed away Monday October 8, 2018. Age 87. Residence Milford. Frank served in the US Coast Guard during the Korean Conflict. He worked as a manager with John Hancock Life Company, served as a volunteer at his church, was involved with St Vincent DePaul Society, and helped at Bethesda North Hospital as a eucharistic minister. He was a kind, giving and loving husband, father and grandfather. Memorial mass will be held 10:00 AM at the Good Shepherd Church, 8815 E. Kemper Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45249 on Tuesday October 16, 2018. Inurment with military honors will follow at 2:00 PM at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 11000 Montgomery Rd, Montgomery, OH.
