Frank D Bickel

Frank D. Bickel, a dedicated and hardworking man, peacefully passed away at the age of 89 on February 26, 2024. Born on September 6, 1934, Frank faced the harsh realities of life early on, stepping up to work as a machinist at a young age after his father's untimely passing. His strong work ethic and craftsmanship led him to establish his own company for 22 years in which his son still operates today.

Beyond his successful career, Frank was a devoted family man, cherishing the moments spent with his loved ones. His passion for crafting extended beyond the workplace. He specialized in creating custom cabinets with his skilled hands. He found joy in solving puzzles and puzzle books, showcasing his keen problem-solving skills.

Frank was preceded in death by his loving wife Mary. Frank's legacy lives on through his large and loving family, his sons, Frank Bickel Jr., Scott (Shari) Bickel and Chris (Donna) Bickel, his grandchildren, Mary Beth Barrett, Robyn Bickel, Christie (Austin) Trent, Scott Bickel Jr. and Faith Bickel and his great-grandchildren, Jordan Barrett, Jeremy Barrett, Kailee Barrett, Camden Bickel, Ryam Horton, Safira Current, Kennedy Current and Kallix Current.

Family will receive friends at Evans Funeral Home, 1944 St Rt 28, Goshen, on Thursday, March 7th from 10 AM until time of funeral services beginning at 11.

As we gather to honor his memory, we remember a man who found fulfillment in his work, treasured his family above all else, and left an indelible mark on all those who had the pleasure of knowing him.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Jude's Childrens Hospital.
