Frank Douda Nimmo

Frank Douda Nimmo beloved husband of 62 years to the late Olga Joan (nee Mileham) Nimmo; loving father of Stephen Charles (Margie) Nimmo, Gregory Frank (Molly Sullivan) Nimmo, James Douglas (Graciela) Nimmo and Richard Scott (Deborah) Nimmo; cherished grandfather of David Charles Nimmo, Jacob Scott (Melanie) Nimmo, Luke Douglas Nimmo, Sarah Marie Nimmo, Michael James Nimmo, Jared Antonio Carrion, Victor Manuel Carrion, Taylor Nicole Nimmo, Claire Marie Nimmo and Richard Scott Nimmo Jr.; uncle of several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Mildred (nee Douda) Nimmo; and siblings, Nancy Nimmo and James (late Eleanor) Nimmo. Passed away Thursday January 21, 2021. Age 85. Residence Union Township, Clermont County, OH. Frank was a 1958 graduate of the University of Cincinnati where he played on the Bearcats Basketball team. He was named to the all NIT Team his Sophomore year and in 1957 was selected in the 5th round of the NBA draft to Syracuse. Frank was an entrepreneur that started two different businesses. He was an avid golf player. He was an awesome husband, father and grandfather that will be greatly missed and pleasantly remembered. DUE TO THE COVID PANDEMIC, FRANK'S FAMILY HAS MADE THE DIFFICULT DECISION TO POSTPONE HIS SERVICE UNTIL A FUTURE DATE WHEN FAMILY AND FRIENDS CAN CELEBRATE HIS LIFE TOGETHER.
