Fred D Burns

Fred David Burns beloved husband of 53 years to Dianna (nee Windisch) Burns; loving father of John (Marcia) Burns, Lora (John) Banks, Matthew Burns and Jason (Tasha) Burns; cherished Papaw of Kevin Burns Emma Burns, Justin Wright, Seth Burns, Samuel Burns, Damian Burns, Madison Burns, and Makayla Burns; dear brother of Donnie Burns, Jerry Burns and Terry Burns; uncle of numerous nieces and nephews; and his four-footed friends Toby and Star. He was preceded in death by his parents, Winfred and Rowena (nee Semm) Burns; and siblings; Larry Burns and Janet Bradley. Went home to be with the Lord on March 23, 2022. Age 73. Residence Batavia, Ohio. Fred graduated from Goshen High School. Worked and retired from ODOT. He loved his family and his Bible. Visitation will be held at the Evans Funeral Home, 1944 St Rt 28, Goshen, OH 45122 on Monday March 28th from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM. Graveside service will follow at Goshen Cemetery at 2:05 PM then burial. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Evans Funeral Home to help with final expenses.
