Fred Glendon Lewis

Fred Glendon Lewis beloved husband of the late Lona (nee Ponder) Lewis and the late Mae (nee Dundes) Lewis; loving father of Kenneth Lewis and the late Terry Lewis; cherished grandfather of Kenneth Lewis II and Jennifer Lewis; great grandfather of Vincent Lewis, Isaiah Lewis and Glendon Lewis; dear brother of Joann and Pat. Went home to be with the Lord on Monday September 17, 2018. Age 95. Residence Batavia. Mr. Lewis served in the US Army during WWII and received two Purple Heart Medals. He worked as a chemical operator with Hilton Davis Chemical Company. Visitation will be held at the Evans Funeral Home, 741 Center St., Milford, OH on Monday September 24th from 1:00 PM until time of service at 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial with military honors will follow at Batavia Union Cemetery in Batavia, OH.
