Fred William Sneed

Fred William Sneed beloved husband of 35 years to Betty (nee Workman) Sneed; loving father of Steve Sneed, Linda (Ray Rock) Miller, Amy (Robert) Vernon and the late Marcia (Freddie Cunningham) Baldwin; cherished Grandpa of Amylynne (Timothy) Bratton, Lindsey (Matt) Smith, Kyle Miller, Emily Rock, Casey (Shonna) Baldwin and Nick Nobile. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Mace (nee Phelps) Sneed; and his siblings, Lee Sneed, Leslie Sneed, Opal Woodward and James Sneed. Went home to be with the Lord on Sunday March 17, 2019. Age 83. Residence Batavia. Fred served in the US Army. He worked and retired as an electrician with the Gilkey Electric Company. Fred was a very sweet, kind and generous man that never met a stranger. Visitation will be held at the Evans Funeral Home, 741 Center St., Milford on Wednesday March 20th from Noon until time of funeral service at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial with military honors will follow at Graceland Memorial Gardens in Milford.
