Gary C. Jackson

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Gary Curtis Jackson on January 22, 2025, at the age of 78. Born on May 12, 1946, in Harlan, Kentucky, to the late George and Ruby (nee Williams) Jackson. Gary lived a life marked by hard work, dedication, and a sense of humor that brought joy to those around him.

Gary was a proud Army veteran, enlisting on November 19, 1963, and serving honorably until his discharge on November 12, 1966, where he achieved the rank of Sergeant (E-5). After his time in the service, he devoted his career to General Electric where he was known for his tireless work ethic and commitment to excellence.

Gary was a great provider who took pride in caring for his family and in his spare time working around the yard. He was not only a hard worker but also a witty jokester who knew how to lighten the mood while remaining serious when it mattered most.

Gary is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years Carolyn Jackson (nee Prather); Loving father of Erik (Bridget) Jackson, Selena (Jason) Morville, Serena (Lew) Wambsganz, and Dustin Jackson; Cherished grandpa of Lexi Hunley, Dylan Moberly, Olivia Hunley, Jack Kettler, Layton Wambsganz, Nolan Morville, Rory Wambsganz, Paris Morville, and Mara Morville. Along with his parents, Gary is preceded in death by his brother and three sisters.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Evans Funeral Home - 741 Center St, Milford, OH 45150. Funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM. Burial to follow at Graceland Memorial Gardens.
