Gary Mahon

Gary Mahon, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and dedicated family man, passed away on June 14, 2024. Born on September 29, 1950, Gary lived a rich and fulfilling life marked by his unwavering love for his family and his diverse range of skills and hobbies.

Gary was a true jack of all trades. Known for his ability to fix things, he always had a solution to any problem that came his way. His deep knowledge of history captivated those around him, making him a go-to source for any historical facts or discussions. A lover of movies, he enjoyed spending quiet evenings at home watching his favorite films and TV shows.

One of Gary's greatest joys was spending time outdoors, especially when fishing. Whether he was casting a line into a tranquil lake or simply enjoying the beauty of nature, he found peace and solace in the great outdoors.

Gary is survived by his children Mark (Sara) Mahon, Kim (Mark) Rutter, Angie (late Buddy) Chaffins and Roger Chambers, grandchildren Paige Mahon, Logan Mahon, Brian (Amy) Hale, Chris Hale, Christina (Tim) Shelton and Angelene Chambers, several great-grandchildren, and his siblings, Ed Mahon, Bill Mahon, Steve Mahon, Jean Mahon, Mike Mahon, Tom Mahon and Sherry Shelton. He is preceded in death by his wife Eva C. Mahon, parents Edward and Mary Mahon, sister Donna Allwood and his brother John Mahon

Gary's legacy of love, knowledge, and kindness will live on in the hearts of those who knew him best. May he rest in peace.
