Gary Robert Osborn entered into rest on July 4, 2026 at the age of 80 years old. He was born April 25, 1946 in Cincinnati Ohio. He was proceeded in death by his parents Catherine (Salazar) and John Osborn.
Gary graduated from Norwood High School in 1964. He then went to The University of Cincinnati and graduated with a five year Engineering Degree and later enlisted in the Air Force. He was a Vietnam veteran and on many occasions faced enemy combat and survived.
Gary was an avid woodworker and enjoyed teaching his skills to his sons, daughter and grandchildren. You could often find Gary working on inventive ways to modify his tractors and tools to improve upon their design while enjoying a cigar. Gary combined book smarts with hands on skills as a regular part of his approach when taking on projects. He was fondly remembered for his quick whit, humor, patriotic spirit and love for his country. You could always count on Gary to put a smile on anyone's face.
Gary is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Nancy (Mobley) Osborn, his children, Master Sergeant Robert Osborn (Kelly Keegan), Ryan (Rachel) Osborn, Jill (Christopher) Corrallo. Sister Teri (Dan) Gillman and brother Ron Osborn (Anita Walters). Grandchildren Brett Osborn, Johanna Osborn, Katelyn Osborn, Jaxson Osborn, Everett Osborn, Bailey Kephart, Brittany (Zackery) Kovacich, Madison Kephart, Carter and Chloe Corrallo, along with many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 13, 2026 at Evans Funeral Home in Milford, Ohio. Visitation from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM, Service at 1:00 PM. Graveside Service to follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park in Cincinnati, Ohio. Gary will be deeply missed and remembered by all who knew him.
