Gary Dale Sheridan, of Milford, Ohio, passed away peacefully in Nashville, Tennessee, on July 31, 2026, at the age of 69. He was born on May 27, 1957, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the late Albert and Billie Sheridan.
Gary is survived by his beloved wife of 21 years, Candace Sheridan. He also leaves behind his son Dale (Kim) Sheridan and grandchildren Hunter, Addy, Evelyn, and Brynn Sheridan. He is survived by his brother, Ralph (Ann) Sheridan, and their son Quinn Sheridan, as well as his sister Diane (Robert) Bottom, and her daughter Charity Parks, and Charity's children Jake (Gwen) Christman and Haley (Tyler) Gibson.
Gary had a zest for life that was reflected in his many passions. An avid motorcycle enthusiast, he truly loved riding and the feeling of freedom it provided He enjoyed country music and was an outstanding dancer who moved with style and grace. Gary was dedicated to bettering his community and regularly volunteered to participate in events to benefit the public through his membership in the CPAAA civic organization in Miami Township. Gary had a great sense of humor, and though he kept a small circle of close friends, the bonds he formed were meaningful and steadfast. He worked over 30 years as a supervisor at General Electric, where he was known for his work ethic and leadership. A lover of pets, he found particular joy in the companionship of his cat, Jack.
Gary's warmth, courage, and spirit will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.
Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, August 17, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Evans Funeral Home in Milford. Prior to the service, a visitation will be held at the same location beginning at 10:00 AM. Gary will be laid to rest following the service at Arlington Memorial Gardens, in Mt. Healthy, Ohio.
In this time of mourning, we remember a husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend who left an indelible mark on our lives. May his memory be eternal, and may we carry forth his legacy of love and laughter in our hearts.
