George Edward Bell Jr.

October 4, 1949 — November 5, 2020

George Edward Bell Jr., age 71 of Milford, Ohio, passed away peacefully in his sleep on November 5, 2020 at his winter home in Sebring, Florida. He was born October 4, 1949 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He grew up in Mt. Carmel, Ohio and graduated from Purcell High School in 1967. George loved racing, in fact he raced quarter midgets as a child and later went on to race midgets for USAC in his adult years. In 1974, George met the love of his life, Sandy, and the two were married in February 1975. George instantly took on the role of father to Sandy's two young children. George loved his family, he loved his friends, and he never knew a stranger. He was happiest when he was boating, fishing, golfing, or doing just about anything outdoors. He was always willing to lend a hand and offer a beer to anyone. George Bell was George Bell, he was the same no matter where he was or with whom he was talking. In a church pew, in a bar, or his living room he never conformed to others expectations. His life was completely fulfilled when his grandchildren came into the world. He always made sure to keep them laughing with his jokes. He strived to be a great influence in his grandchildren's lives and wanted to be a part of every aspect. George is survived by his beloved wife Sandy Bell of Milford, Ohio; Son Brian Richard of Morrow, Ohio; Daughter Jami Eversole (Kyle Eversole) of Loveland, Ohio; Grandchildren Kamryn Eversole, Caleb Richard, Morgan Eversole, Lauren Richard, Ryann Eversole, and Casey Eversole; along with cousins and his lifelong friends. George is preceded in death by his parents George Sr. and Martha Bell. A visitation to celebrate George's life will take place at Evans Funeral Home 741 Center Street Milford, Ohio 45150 on Friday November 13, 2020 from 5pm - 8pm. A private funeral blessing will be held the following day. Charitable contributions can be made to The Le Bonheur Children's Hospital in recognition of the Phi Mu Sorority or any charity of your choice. Please visit www.lebonheur.org to make the donation.
