George W Kleinert

Beloved husband, father, and Navy veteran, George W. Kleinert, passed away peacefully on August 6, 2024, in Loveland, Ohio, at the age of 91. Born in Chicago, Illinois, on October 18, 1932, George was an engineer by profession, dedicating many years of his life to GE Aviation.

Known for his analytical mind and meticulous planning, George was always one step ahead, ensuring everything was in order. Yet, he was also a fun-loving individual with a great sense of humor, often seen cracking jokes and enjoying a cold beer with friends and family. His generosity knew no bounds, and his knack for storytelling captivated all those around him.

George is preceded in death by his devoted spouse Kathryn Kleinert. He is survived by his loving sons Guy, Greg, Scott, and Mark Kleinert, sisters Charlene (late Bill) Heathcoat & Naomi (late Gay) King, very special friend Barbara Parker, best friend Bill Quarve and his buddies from GE. He enlisted in the Navy on June 28, 1950, proudly serving until his discharge on October 17, 1953, achieving the rank of AD2 (T).

A celebration of George's life will be held on August 9, 2024, at the Evans Funeral Home 1944 Ohio 28 Goshen, Ohio at noon with visitation starting at 11AM. Burial with U.S. Navy Honors to follow at Greenlawn Cemetery Milford, Ohio.

George's legacy of kindness, humor, and exceptional storytelling will forever linger in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He may have departed from this world, but his spirit will continue to live on through the cherished memories he leaves us with. Rest in peace, George W. Kleinert.
