George Ervin Stephan Sr. beloved husband of 50 years to Doris "Dori" (nee Anderson) Stephan; loving father of George (Ramona) Stephan Jr., Dave (Phyllis) Lehn, Jan (Kevin) Collins, Rick (Kate Patton) Lehn, Pam (Ken) Stephan-Ulrich, JoAnn (Terry) Lay, Jim (Marty) Stephan, Glenn (Pat) Lehn, Don (Donna) Stephan and Jenny Stephan; cherished Grandpa of Keesha, Michelle, Tiffany, David Jr., Brian, Scott, Nick, Kris, Ian, Ali, Christina, Tyler, Tara, Meghan, Matt, Josh, Lori, Desiree, Dominique, Rachel, Erin, Michael, Braydon, Jimmy, Shawn and many great grandchildren; dear brother of Katherine Hughes and Clifford Stephan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles J. and Ruth E. (nee Beller) Stephan; siblings, Edward Stephan, Raymond Stephan, Ruth Ann Wilder, Betty Oatley, Dorothy Martin and Charles Stephan; daughters, Anita McCord and Sarah DeBee; and great grandchild, Brandon. Went home to be with the Lord and Dori on Friday November 22, 2019. Age 93. Residence Pierce Township. George served in the US Navy during WWII. Dori was his world and he loved her immensely. He enjoyed bowling, golf, playing cards and camping. George was a big Cincinnati Reds fan. Visitation will be held at the Evans Funeral Home, 741 Center St., Milford on Wednesday November 27th from 10:00 AM until Noon. Funeral service with military honors will follow at 12:30 PM at Graceland Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel, 5989 Deerfield Rd., Milford. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be given to Evans Funeral Home to help with final expenses.
