Georgia Banks

BANKS, GEORGIA (nee Craft) Age 91 of Milford, Ohio Went home to be with Her Lord and Savior on Monday October 2, 2023. She was born November 14, 1931, in Clay County Kentucky to Albert and Emma Craft (nee Clark). On September 13, 1953, she married the late Vernon Banks. She asked the Lord Jesus Christ to be her personal Savior in February 1958 at Metamora Baptist Church in Indiana. She is a retiree from AVON Warehouse, where she worked faithfully for many years. She enjoyed gardening, canning, and volunteering at church as a Sunday School teacher, and spending time cooking for family and friends.

Georgia was the devoted mother of Harold V. Banks (Judy Cantrell); She was a loving grandma to Heather (Josh) Gaunce, Matthew (Rachael) Long, Ashely (Matt) Martin; Great grandmother of Shane Davison, Tommy Gaunce, Allison Gaunce, Ciersten Myers, Novalin Long, Cody Chandler, Leo Long, Lydia Chandler, Liam Gaunce and Westley Martin. Great -Great Grandmother of Brantley Moore, Chevelle Moore, Evander Myers, and Reed Moore. Dear sister of Ollie (Bill) Council, Ruby (Jim) Martin, the late Manford Craft, the late Herbert (Martha) Craft, the late Edna (Leon) Mills, the late Stella Mae (Jennings) Ray, Marie Birch, the late Hazel (Sherrill) Luttrell, the late Albert (Anne) Craft, the late Joyce Craft, the late Richard (Doris) Craft, and the late Mallie (Jack) Murphy.

Visitation will be at Evans Funeral Home 741 Center Street Milford, Ohio 45150, Tuesday October 10, 2023, from 10:00 AM until time of funeral service at 11:00 AM. Burial to follow at Greenlawn Cemetery.
