Georgia Craig Oakes, beloved mother of Brenda (the late Mark) Whitaker and Vicky (Glenn) Foust, loving grandmother of Shanna Barnett, Michael Barnett and Jonathan Whitaker, great-grandmother of Miranda (Caden) Barnett, Morgan (Bud) Barnett, Jaylin (Steven) Sears, Bri Barnett, Hanna Howard, Haley Howard, Trey Howard, Heather Howard and Rylan Obie, great-great-grandmother of Sienna Green, Scarlett Harris and K.J. Taylor, dear sister of Johnny, Judy and the late Jewel, Katie, Uldean, Linda, Diane, Dovie and Junior, also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Passed away on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at the age of 85 years. Family will receive friends at Evans Funeral Home, Milford, on Monday, September 17th from 1 PM until time of funeral services beginning at 2 PM.
