Gerald "Lee" Meyer

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Gerald "Lee" Meyer. Born on December 27, 1937, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the late Charles and Ruby (nee Pemberton) Meyer. Lee peacefully departed on October 28, 2024, at the age of 86.

Lee is survived by his sister Georgia Harris and preceded in death by his sisters Thelma Meyer and Caroline (late Bobby) Bailey; Loving uncle of Ray Bailey, Jeff Bailey, Rhonda Bailey, Jennifer (Steve) Wilder, and Charlie Wilder. Lee also leaves behind many cousins and dear friends.

Lee's love for the outdoors was evident to all who knew him; he found solace and joy in fishing, hunting, and camping. His passion for playing cards brought friends and family together, creating lasting memories and laughter. A faithful member of Summerside Church of God, Lee found strength and community in his church family.

Known for his quick wit and infectious humor, Lee brought light and joy to those around him. His presence will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

A graveside service will be held to celebrate Lee's life on Monday, November 4, 2024 at Graceland Memorial Gardens in the Chapel beginning at 11:00 AM.
