Gerard Priest

Gerard S. Priest "Gerry", age 72 of Miami Township, passed away Friday, May 28, 2021 at Bethesda North Hospital. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio November 25, 1948. He is the son of J.S. Priest and Claire Priest (nee Hermann). Brother of Jack Priest. Gerry graduated from Purcell High School and Xavier University with honors and worked for the Ford Motor Company as an Operations Manager at the time of retirement. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Pamela A. Priest and his children Krista Priest and Pete York, Colleen Priest, Karyn and Ted Vaive, step-grandchildren Austin, Drew and Hanna Vaive. Brother-in-law of Vincent and Marilyn Poynter, Sandy Poynter, D.G. and Dan House, Brian and Sandy Poynter. Nephew of Malcolm and Karen Merritt, Danny and Maxine Shepherd, many cousins, nieces, nephews, lifelong friends, neighbors and colleagues. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hosital , Homes for Our Troops or League for Animal Welfare - Clermont County .
