Gordon Christopher Greene

Gordon Christopher Greene died peacefully on March 14th at the age of 81. Gordon was born in Cincinnati in 1935 to parents Capt. Tom Greene and Letha C. Greene. His youth was spent traveling the Ohio River aboard one of the family owned steamboats; one of which was the Delta Queen. Gordon was a man of many accomplishments: he was a McKibbon award winner at the Univ of Cincinnati where he graduated from law school and played football, ran 26 marathons, was a founding member of the Ensemble Theater of Cincinnati, was an accomplished actor, practiced law for close to 50 years and was elected to the American College of Trial Lawyers. However, his greatest accomplishment was the raising of his two sons Gordon Christopher Greene II, a former Navy fighter pilot and Daniel Wilkins Greene, a former Navy SEAL. Gordon is survived by his son Chris Greene, grandchildren Ella and John, son Dan Greene, daughter in law Cara and grandchildren Jake and Rachel. Also surviving Gordon is Caroline Greene, his brother Tom Greene II and sister Letha Jane Greene. Visitation Sunday March 19th from 2:00-3:30 and will be followed by a brief memorial at the Evans Funeral Home in Milford.
