Harlan Shearer beloved husband of the late Elizabeth (nee Glenn) Shearer; loving father of Sharon Loving, Judith (Rev. David) Acree, the late David Shearer and the late Steven Shearer;
10 Grandchildren, 22 Great Grandchildren and 9 Great Great Grandchildren; Uncle of many nieces and nephews. he was preceded in death by his parents, Elijah and Mary (nee Parker) Shearer; and his siblings, 5 brothers and 6 sisters. Went home to be with the Lord on Monday September 4, 2017. Age 90. Residence Batavia, OH. Mr. Shearer served in the US Army during WWII. He was employed by the American Laundry. Visitation will be held Monday September 11, 2017 from 1:00 PM until time of funeral service at the Evans Funeral Home, 741 Center St., Milford, OH. Burial with military honors will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Milford, OH. Memorial contributions may be given to Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, PO Box 5202, Cincinnati, OH 45201.
