Harold L. Blinkhorn

Harold Lee Blinkhorn, 89, of Goshen, passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2020. Harold was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the U.S. Army. He worked at the LeBlond Machine Tool Company over 30 years untill his retirement in 1992. Harold loved to play euchre and softball. In one memorable game, Harold's senior mens team beat his daughter, Patti's, team by one run. Harold married his high school sweetheart, Emily Cox in 1949. They were married 63 years until Emily's death in 2013. Harold is preceeded in death by his wife, Emily, parents; William and Emma Blinkhorn, brother Melvin (Virginia) Gilbert, and sister; Sally (Allen) Ludlow. He is survived by his children; Dennis Blinkhorn, Cheryl Thomas, Patti (Mike) Bates, Keith (Stephanie Zinsmeister) Blinkhorn and Lisa (David) Dennis Services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at the Evans Funeral Home 1944 St. Rt. 28, Goshen OH 45122 with visitation for family and friends Tuesday, January 14th 6 to 8 PM at the Evans Funeral Home. Burial with Military Honors by the U.S. Army will follow in the Goshen Cemetery.
