Harold Alexander Bloomhuff

Harold A. Bloomhuff age 87, formerly of Milford, died at the Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville, Florida. He was born in California, Ohio, the son of Charles Alexander and Lillie Brison Denton Bloomhuff. He was supervisor of the grounds for Jewish Hospital for many years, creating many of the gardens surrounding the hospital. His first wife, Dolores Maria (nee DiMario) preceded him in death January 17, 2005 and he is survived by his 2nd wife Carolyn Treaster Bloomhuff, whom he married June 20, 2009. He is also survived by his daughter & son-in-law Montre & Bradly VanAken; step-children, David W., Gina S and Daniel M Treaster; 7 grandchildren, one great grandson, a sister, Delores Alsip. Along with his parents & 1st wife he was also preceded in death by 3 siblings. A Blessing Service will be 1:30PM Thursday, April 9, 2015 at the Evans Funeral Home, Milford with visitation from 12:30 until time of service. Rev. Michael Cordier will officiate. Burial will follow at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery on Montgomery Road.
