Harold Siekbert October 27, 1935 - June 26, 2025, of Milford, Ohio, passed away peacefully on June 26, 2025, at the age of 89, surrounded by his loving family. A devoted man of faith, Harold served for over 50 years as a deacon at First Baptist Church of Milford. He found great joy in giving back to his church community-whether through driving the church bus or singing along to his favorite Southern Gospel hymns. Known for his quiet strength and steadfast heart, Harold led by example-faithful, dependable, and full of grace. He was a lover of Westerns and could often be found winding down with an old favorite and a contented smile. Harold was a true family man who lived his life with integrity and devotion. He was married to his beloved wife, Shirley Mae Siekbert (nee Hodge) for nearly 71 years, and together they built a home filled with laughter, kindness, and unwavering love-always centered on faith and family. He is survived by his children: Roberta (Gary) Taylor, Karen (Stephen) Dancsec, Dottie (Bob) Lease, Harold (Shelley) Siekbert, and David (Tonya) Siekbert. Harold is also lovingly remembered by his brothers: James, Kenneth, Mike, and Danny (Cinda). He was a proud grandfather to 17 grandchildren: Christie (Terry) Carter, Paul (Jaime) Taylor, Andrew (Ginger) Taylor, Phil (Sarah) Taylor, Candi Jo Dancsec, Kimberly Dancsec, Laura Rose (Alex) Julia, Stephen Dancsec Jr., Mike Stacy, Brian Stacy, Kayla Lease, Amanda (Sammy) Hoelscher, Matt (Missy) Siekbert, David (Brooklyn) Siekbert Jr., Breanna Siekbert, Dylan (Rosa) Siekbert, and Aliya Siekbert. His legacy continues through his 27 great-grandchildren, each of whom brought him immense joy and pride. Harold was preceded in death by his father Joseph Harold Siekbert and mother Helen Henrietta (nee Rohr) Siekbert, his brother Jerry Siekbert, sister Nancy Siekbert, granddaughter Christie Carter, and great-granddaughter Isabella Rose Julia. Though he will be deeply missed, Harold's family finds comfort in knowing he is now at peace and reunited with loved ones in Heaven.
