It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Harry D. Yeager, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, who peacefully left us on August 5, 2026, at the age of 90. Harry was born on December 28, 1935, and spent his life dedicated to family, service, and the simple joys of life.

Harry, a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, served our country during the Korean War, embodying the courage and commitment he carried throughout his life. After returning home, he devoted over 35 years to the Ford Motor Company, where he worked diligently until his retirement.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Susan Yeager. He was a proud father of three, Amy, David, and Dennis, along with stepchildren Justena, Michael, Barbara, and the late Roberta. As a grandfather of 12 and great-grandfather of 9, Harry had a profound love for family that shone brightly in all he did.

Harry was known for his quiet nature, which often belied a deep strength and kindness. He had a passion for the great outdoors, enjoying hunting and fishing. Winters were often spent traveling to Florida with Susan, where they enjoyed sun-filled days together. Harry also found joy in playing chess, indulging in friendly games of poker, and showing off his collection of cowboy hats and firearms.

His brothers, Harvey and Vincent, along with many loved ones, will remember Harry as a gentle spirit. He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters, but his legacy as a caring husband and devoted family man will forever remain in our hearts.

A Celebration of Life for Harry will be held at 5592 Autumn Wynd Lane, Milford, OH 45150, on August 23, 2026, from 2-5 pm, where friends and family are invited to share stories and reminisce about the wonderful life he led.

As we remember Harry D. Yeager, let us carry forward the love and lessons he shared with us all. His gentle spirit and strong heart will be missed deeply, but he will forever be a guiding light in the lives of those who knew him.
