Haskel L. Stewart of Blanchester, OH, passed away on June 27, 2024, at the age of 76. Born on January 20, 1948, in Alva, KY, he lived a fulfilling life surrounded by his loved ones. Haskel was a dedicated employee at General Motors for three decades, where his hard work and commitment were exemplary.
Known for his love for his family, Haskel was a devoted husband for 55 years to his beloved wife Bonnie Haskel. A cherished father and a doting papaw, he left a lasting impact on those around him through his kindness and warmth. Haskel's passion for sports led him to enjoy Reds baseball games and indulge in his favorite treat, peanut butter fudge.
In his leisure time, Haskel found solace in the great outdoors, relishing moments spent hunting, fishing, and cultivating his vegetable garden. He was a huge UK basketball fan and enjoyed watching games as often as he could. Being a liver transplant recipient, He advocated for organ donation. The most important thing is that He is a born again Christian.
Haskel is survived by his wife Bonnie Stewart (nee Caldwell), his children Brandon (Christa) Stewart, Jennifer (Kelly) Chambers and Crissy Daniel, grandchildren, Tyler (Katie) Chambers, Alexa Stewart, Shade Stewart and Austin Daniel, great grandchildren Brayden Hopkins and Benjamin Chambers and his brother Mason (Judy) Stewart. Haskel was preceded in death by his parents Ancil Stewart, Lydia Stewart
