Hazel "Charlene" Bebout

Charlene was born on September 11, 1948, in Pennsville, OH, to the late Doris Coleman and Lena Colerick. She was the beloved wife of 54 years to Tom Bebout; Loving mother of Stacie Bebout, Deb Bebout Hobbs (Nathan), and Holly Bebout Taulbee (Michael); Cherished Purple Grammy of Griffin Hobbs, Gwendolyn Hobbs, and Declan Taulbee; Sister of Linda Lohr, Cheryl Ullman, and the late Sharon Biedenbach and late Curtis Coleman. Charlene is survived many numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

Anyone who knew Charlene knew she LOVED purple. She was known as Purple Grammy to her grandchildren. Charlene was a very hospitable, sweet, gentle, and caring woman. She could make you feel like the only person in the room.

Charlene was an excellent cook and loved to host gathering for her family and friends. She was a huge fan of Elvis Presley. In her free time, Charlene enjoyed crafting, crocheting, and cross stitch. She was a gardening enthusiast and was known for her greenthumb and love for hummingbirds. Charlene will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Charlene passed away surrounded by her loving family on April 14, 2024, at the age of 75. Resident of Milford, OH. A visitation will be held on Monday, April 22, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 3:00PM at Evans Funeral Home - 741 Center St, Milford, OH 45150. Funeral service will immediately follow beginning at 3:00PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Charlene's name to the Clermont County Senior Services and the Promont House. (Links below)
