Heather Gilbert

Heather Gilbert, peacefully passed away on July 23, 2024, at the age of 47. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio on December 15, 1976.

Heather was known for her kindness and loving nature, traits that endeared her to all who knew her. She graduated from Amelia High School in 1995 and embraced a deep love for the outdoors, often finding solace in camping trips and embracing nature. Her passion for travel led her to frequent visits to Gatlinburg, TN, and the sandy shores of Florida.

A true artist at heart, Heather reveled in creating and wearing tie-dyed clothing, a vibrant expression of her free spirit. Her love for flowers and fur babies reflected her nurturing soul, while her fascination with Volkswagen cars and buses showcased her unique taste and style.

Heather is survived by her devoted spouse, Jody Gilbert, and her loving parents, Craig and Fran Thomas, her son Damian Gilbert, daughter-in-law Allysa Gilbert, her grandchildren that she absolutely adored Zeke and Tate Gilbert, her aunt Bev Kestler, Cousin Angie Kestler, her brother-in-law Jim Lynn and sister-in-law Robin Lynn.

A memorial service celebrating Heather's life will be held on August 10, 2024 from 1 PM-4 PM at 1 Village Circle Amelia, OH 45102, to honor the legacy of a remarkable woman who touched countless hearts with her warmth and affection. Friends and family are invited to share cherished memories in remembrance of Heather's vibrant spirit. May she forever be remembered for the love and light she brought to all those around her.
