Helen Marie Bradford (nee Hibbs) was born April 19, 1935 in Cuba, Ohio. Helen served as an integral part of the Milford community serving as secretary at Milford Schools (starting in the Middle School and retiring from Milford Highschool). Frequently students would stop to thank her for being the one person that made them feel special and for being such a positive influence in their life. Her passion for people was palpable, she was a caregiver to all. Helen always put others needs before her own. She served as the eyes for her husband of 60 years always finding ways to bring laughter to his day as his macular degeneration clouded his view. Always ready to travel and try new experiences such as sea kayaking and mountain climbing even at the age of 86, completing a 2mile mountain hike with a fractured hip in October 2021. Family was always a priority for Helen, she was mother and grandmother to all she met, her family was too large to count. Her many siblings, nieces and nephews were a source of great pleasure for her as she tried to care for all. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren brought great joy to her life and she beamed with pride as she shared their adventures and accomplishments. She will be missed by all who were fortunate to meet her in this wonderful journey called life.
