Helen Jane Stevens-Kidd

Helen Jane Stevens-Kidd age 87 of Blanchester passed peacefully surrounded by her family May 8, 2015 at the Laurels of Blanchester after a couragous fight with her illnesses. She was born March 10, 1928 in Bainbridge the daughter of Glen and Louise Jones Campbell. Helen dedicated 38 years to managing the United Dairy Farmer stores, starting in the Morrow store and retiring from the Blanchester store. She was a member of the Pleasant Grove Church of God in Edwardsville. Her first husband, Floyd Stevens, preceded her in death March 11, 1995 as did her second, Edward H. Kidd. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Beth A. Payton (Mike) Thomas, step children, Bill Stevens, Martha Stevens, Barbara Casey, Michael Kidd and Nina Kay Kidd, grandchildren, Bobby (Liz) Payton, Jennifer Thomas, and several step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, Austin Grindstaff, Jordin and Emma Payton and several step great-grandchildren, brothers, Tom Campbell and the late Glenn Campbell, sister-in-law, Margie Campbell and brother-in-law, Hadley Turner. Services will be 11:00AM Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at the Evans Funeral Home, 1944 St. Rt. 28, Goshen 45122 with visitation from 10:00AM until the time of service. Reverend Calvin Martin will officiate. Burial will follow in the Edwardsville Cemetery. Memorials in her honor may be made to the Harlan Township Fire Dept. 9120 Morrow-Rossburg Rd.
