Henry W. Gitler Jr.

Gitler, Henry W. Jr., passed away Tuesday November 3, 2015 at SEM Haven. He was born and raised in Newark, NJ. Henry was in the See Bee's during World War II serving in Iwo Jima, the Gilbert Islands and the Marshall Islands. He retired from Wood Industries after more than 20 years as a draftsman. He was predeceased by his wife of 67 years, Bernice. Bernice and Henry were avid dancers and loved to travel on cruises. They retired to Galveston, TX for 24 years before moving to Milford, OH. Preceded in death by sister Emily Meisnest and brothers William and Raymond Gitler. Survived by nephew Steven Robison. Memorial Service November 13th 10 AM at SEM Haven Chapel 225 Cleveland Ave. Milford OH.
