Herman Edward Liming

Herman Edward Liming, age 87, of Blanchester, Died Friday, September 1, 2017 at the Clinton Memorial Hospital in Wilmington. He was born may 7, 1930 in Gioshen Township the son of Herschel and Pearl Grossnickle Liming. Herman graduated from Blanchester High School, entered the U.S. Army serving in Korea being discharged in Feb. 1953. After the Army, Herman was always busy. He worked at the assembly plant in the Norwood Chevrolet Plant, retired from ODOT, was a Bailiff for the Clermont County Courts and an agent for the former Crawford Real Estate in Blanchester. He was a member of the Woodville Baptist Church, Edenton Lodge #332 F & AM. Scottish Rite Valley of Cincinnati and the Blanchester York Rite. He is survived by his dear brother, Myron (Bernice) Liming and a sister-in-law; Marie Liming, and numerous loving nieces and nephews. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers and spouses, Russel, Earl (Pat) Liming, sister and spouses; Dora (Monroe) Spears, and Wanda (Cletis) Turner. Services will be 2:00PM Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2017 at the Evans Funeral Home in Milford with visitation from 1:00 until the time of service. An Edenton Lodge #332 Masonic Service will be at 1:45PM. Rev. Bill Webb will officiate. Burial will follow in the Plainview Cemetery in Wayne Township with Military Honors provided by the U.S. Army.
