Herschel Thomas Liming

Herschel Thomas Liming was born on March 3, 1952, to the late Russell and Mabel “Marie” (nee South) Liming. Beloved husband of 53 years to Linda (nee Roeper) Liming; Loving father of Michelle (George) King and Melissa (Dan) Elfers; Cherished papaw of Thomas Norton, Gregory Black, and great-grandfather of Mason Black; brother of Sandi (Dick) Artus, Sherri (Sean) Martin, Shauna (Rob) Shaffer and Sonya (Steve) McQuitty. Herschel is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends. Along with his parents, Herschel was preceded in death by his brother, Jeffrey Ray Liming.

Herschel enjoyed classic cars and you could find him at just about any car show in the greater Cincinnati area. He owned a few cars himself with his favorite being his dune buggy. Herschel was a machine operator for a while, but enjoyed his retirement when he started to work for a local farmer and learned the ropes of farming the land.

Herschel passed away surrounded by his loving family on July 28, 2023, at the age of 71. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Evans Funeral Home – 741 Center St, Milford, OH 45150. The funeral service will begin the following day, Thursday, August 3, 2023, starting at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow at Plainview Cemetery - Newtonsville, OH.
