Homer Nelson Greene

Nelson Greene age 79, of Sardinia, passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at his residence. He was born July 27, 1941 in Blanchester, the son of Ovid Nelson and Maude (nee Davis) Greene. He farmed with his father in Blanchester and retired from the Shepherd Chemical Company in Norwood. He was currently working part time at Puckett Tire in Sardinia. He is survived by his children; Scott Greene and Beverly Greene, grandchildren; Brandon Scott (Felicia Combs) Greene, Travis Lee (Abby) Greene, Cole Taylor (Cierra Dallas) Greene, great grandchildren; Jullian Cage Greene, Waylon Thomas Greene, Maverick Lee Greene, sisters and brothers-in-law; Charolette (the late Ted) Lyttle, Linda (Bruce) Barricklow and several nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, he was preceeded in death by his brothers; Ronald and Kenneth Greene. A graveside service will be Monday, March 1, 2021 at the Woodville Cemetery in Wayne Township. Reverend Bill Webb will officiate. A visitation for family and friends will be 2:00 to 4:00 PM, Sunday, February 28, 2021 at the Evans Funeral Home, 1944 St. Rt. Goshen 45122.
