Hugh Macdonald Smith

Hugh Macdonald Smith, beloved husband of Riona Marr Smith, devoted father of Shona (Paul) Miklautsch and the late Gavin Smith, loving father-in-law to Rachel Edwards, caring grandfather of Jackson and Gabrielle Smith, Joshua, William, Peter and the late Julia Miklautsch, dear brother of Graham Smith and the late Eileen Smith. Hugh was born in Scotland in 1934 and immigrated to America in 1967. He worked for Sun Chemical Corp. for over 30 years and became vice president of research and environment. He passed away on November 27, 2023 at the age of 89 years. Visitation will be at Faith Church, 5910 Price Rd. Milford, OH 45150, on Saturday, December 9th from 11 AM until the time of service beginning at 12 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati.
