Irma J. nee (Winchell), 91, of Goshen, Ohio passed away peacefully May 13, 2026. She was born January 31, 1935 in Springvale, Maine.

Devoted mother of Geri (Michael) Gellman, Andrew (Erin Potter) Banks, Judy Jones, and Susan (Patrick) Murphy.

Irma is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and her sister Sylvia Young.

She was preceded in death by her husband the late Donald Banks, her parents, the late Dana and Ruth (Chandler) Winchell, her daughter the late Brenda Haley, her brother the late John, her sisters the late Ethel, Grace and Ruth and one granddaughter.

Irma will be remembered for her Maine accent and her love for the Lord and daily studying of her Bible devotions and for her many wood items and crafts that she made and gave to her family and friends.

A celebration of Irma's life will be held on Saturday, May 23rd at 1 P.M. at the Goshen Methodist Church, 6710 Goshen Road, Goshen, OH 45122.
