Ivetta Washko stepped into glory on Christmas Eve, She was proceeded by her husband John F. Washko, daughter Anna Gardner, sister Christene Godsey, Mother and Father Eliza and HB Reedy. Ivetta leaves behind a daughter Lora Andriot and son John Washko, 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, two brothers John and HB Jr. and a sister Monette. And too many friends to count. She was a fourth grade teacher at Clermont Northeastern until she retired. She loved teaching and especially fourth graders, who she said were the perfect age because "their hormones had not kicked in yet", as those who were her friends heard her say often. She also served in the churches she and John attended either teachig children's church or adult Bible studies.
She was a great mother, caretaker, cook, lover of Jesus Christ. She really enjoyed serving people whether family, friends or someone in need. Her caring heart was always open; like the smile that rarely left her face. She would look into your eyes and see deep into the heart and encourage or sometimes correct you. But always with the intent to make things better for you.
As her bother-in-law put it "there is a hole in the world tonight. She played a great role in the lives of all who knew her."
We will miss you wonderful lady!
