Jack Lee Woodruff, a beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on December 15, 2025, at the age of 87. Born on April 9, 1938, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Jack was a steadfast presence in the lives of all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his cherished wife, Gloria (née Malott), with whom he shared over 42 wonderful years of marriage.
Jack is survived by his two devoted sons,Ron (Sonnie, née Heichel) Woodruff, and Michael (Cary, née Schatzel) who will forever carry his memory in their hearts. He also leaves behind a legacy of love and joy through his grandchildren: Noah (Joy), Brooks, Cory, Blake (Ashley), Libby, Lauryn, and Maddi, along with his great-grandchildren, Conrad, Dorothea, Judah, and a new addition expected to join the family this Sunday.
A man of many passions, Jack's love for golf-both playing and watching-was only matched by his enthusiasm for playing cards and his impressive skills as a handyman. His children will fondly remember their father's unwavering loyalty and support throughout their lives.
Jack's family and friends are invited to celebrate his life and legacy at Evans Funeral Home in Milford (741 Center Street), on Friday, December 19th, 2025. Visitation will begin at 10am, followed by a funeral service at 11am, allowing loved ones to come together in reminiscence of a life well-lived and a man dearly missed.
As we remember Jack, may we cherish the moments spent with him and hold his legacy of love, laughter, and loyalty close to our hearts.
